The on-going Chris Brown assault case stemming from a brawl outside a D.C. hotel that landed Breezy in jail for over 100 days due to a probation violation seems to finally be resolved. During a plea hearing in the Nation's Capital, Brown apologized to the court and said that the case had derailed his career for the past year.

According to a TMZ report, Brown accepted a plea deal this morning and told the judge that he just wants the case to go away so that he can hit the road and go on tour. Brown was sentenced to time served and appears to be free to continue on with his life. "To say that he's been punished severly in this matter is an understatement," Brown's lawyer, Danny Onorato, told ABC News

Brown's bodyguard, Christoher Hollosy, was also charged for misdemeanor assault in April but has not yet been sentenced.
