After Wiz Khalifa released his ode to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie with "Shell-Shocked," many critics weren't impressed. One critic happened to be Ninja Turtle fanatic, Vanilla Ice. He gave his candid review at GQ, and wasn't pleased to say the least.

"With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn't really do it for me,” Vanilla Ice said during his interview. "It feels a little artificial. What I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together. It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true Ninja, to possess the Magic to really pull off the secret sound.”

Ice recorded "Ninja Rap" for the 1991 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, while being featured in the film, as well.

The movie will hit theaters Aug. 8.
