Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital has not only gained $5 million, but also two new key execs. Roc Nation’s former VP Liz Hausle has joined the staff as executive vice president of marketing. Carmen Murray, Co-Founder of Title 9 Music Publishing and Founder and Co-CEO of Title 9 Productions will serve as general manager.

All Def Music co-founders Simmons and Rifkind announced yesterday the new editions they had made to their team. Back in 2013 Universal Muisc Group announced its partnership with All Def Digital and its goal to promote and develop artists through its YouTube channel as well as other new media outlets.

"I began working with Liz in 1994 on groundbreaking albums like 36 Chambers. She has emerged as one of the sharpest and most innovative marketing minds in our industry. Carmen and I have worked together for nearly a decade. She's a shrewd entrepreneur who's established numerous notable careers. She brings extraordinary experiences which makes her invaluable as we continue to grow and develop our roster," said Rifkind in a press statement. “We are excited to have Liz and Carmen join the family to help bring amazing new music and artists to contemporary audiences around the world."

"We wanted the best in the business in marketing and talent development to support our artists and their groundbreaking work," said Simmons. "All Def Music is building a team of respected industry veterans who can help guide and nurture the talented new artists that we are discovering on a weekly basis."
