After serving six years in prison for assault, Remy Ma is now a free woman and ready to get back on her grizzly. She's wasted no time letting her presence be known by quickly hopping on DJ Khaled's "They Don't Love You No More (Remix)." A half a decade on lock down definitely didn't alter the former Terror Squad MC's rhyme style as Mrs. Papoose seemed to go straight for the jugular of an unnamed female rapper on the track leaving many to speculate if she was going at either Nicki Minaj or Iggy Azalea. Remy dispelled those rumors in her first post prison interview with Funk Master Flex, saying she would like to work with the current stars of female rap. "Iggy Azalea, and Nicki [Minaj]," she said.

Further elaborating on her stance of working with other female artists instead of playing the bully role, Remy spoke on the difference between how male and female rappers are perceived. "What I think happens with females in this game, they tend to allow other people to pit us against each other," she said. "I've said this before. They make it seem like there can only be one female. It can be a thousand guys that's putting out music and rapping and doing what they do, but when it comes to females in this hip-hop business, they make it seem like it can only be one, and if there's more than one then 'Alright, y'all better be at each other's throats every chance that you get.' And any time you say one of those things, they're like, 'Oh yeah, she has to be talking about this person when she said that.' And I just feel like it got really crazy, to the point where I wouldn't tolerate it."
