Remy Ma has been on a tear since she was released from prison after spending over six years behind bars. From working with Khaled, to freestyling on "Sway In The Morning," to dropping a single with French Montana, it feels like 2004 again. With the buzz heating up, Remy Ma is looking to capitalize and told MTV News that she would like to drop her full-length mixtape, I'm Around, next week. "I'm trying to have it done by this weekend, so I can put it out next week," said Remy.

Remy surely has a lot to get off her chest after being holed up for so long. She will do her best to get it all out on wax. "It's kind of impossible, after being in prison for six-and-a-half-years, and being home for 19 days, to talk about what I'm going through right now," she continued. "It's very hard not to bring up what I went through. Even though, in the future, I don't want to keep dwelling on the past. I don't want to dwell in the past now, but that was a large part of my life, so it has affected me in a lot of ways, and it will show in my music."
