Ray J’s Sexual Battery Charge Gets Dropped
Looks like Brandy's brother won't be serving time behind bars any time soon, after copping a plea deal with the L.A. District Attorney's Office. Earlier today, singer/actor/sex-tape connoisseur, Ray J, was able to get three crucial charges dropped after pleading guilty to misdemeanor trespassing following a May 30 incident.
In late May, Ray J was arrested for spitting on a cop, trespassing, resisting arrest, and grabbing a woman's breast at a Beverly Hills Hotel. After striking a deal with the District Attorney's Office, his sexual battery, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest charges have been dropped.
However, he won't be getting off that easy. While he may not have to wear an orange jumpsuit or explain to neighbors he's a registered sex offender, Ray J was still awarded punishment. Judge Edward Moreton sentenced him to three years summary probation and 50 hours of community service.'
Ray J is set to star in the upcoming reality show, Love & Hip Hop LA.
