Pitbull Gets His Own SiriusXM Channel
Pitbull is taking over SirusXM radio. Beginning next year the Miami rapper is scheduled to have his own channel. It will feature music from Pitbull as well as personal selections from other artists. In addition he will also host a weekly show.
The new channel marks as a first for Latin artists. Though SiriusXM has 21 Spanish-language channels tailored toward Hispanic listeners, this will be the first time a Latin artist has ever had their own full-time channel.
Expect more details to become available closer to launch. The channel will most likely be tailored to a bilingual audience.
