The N.W.A. feature film Straight Outta Compton has added a new member to its cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, award-winning actor Paul Giamatti is on board to play former N.W.A. manager and Ruthless Records co-founder Jerry Heller. Set during N.W.A.'s rise in the 1980s, Straight Outta Compton already has O'Shea Jackson Jr. as Ice Cube, Marcus Callender as Dr. Dre, and Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E.

Heller was N.W.A's manager during the formation of the group and co-founded Ruthless Records with Eazy-E. He became the lighting rod for controversy when Ice Cube and Dr. Dre left the group after financial disputes.

The Yale University trained actor has appeared in Private Parts, The Truman Show, Saving Private Ryan, American Splendor and Man On The Moon and received an supporting actor Oscar nod for Cinderella Man.

Straight Outta Compton is on deck for release on August 14, 2015. The film will be directed by F. Gary Gray and produced by Ice Cube.
