Nicki Minaj Was Shocked Beyonce Wanted To Work With Her

Few artists in the game have had a better 2014 than Nicki Minaj and she kept the momentum rolling this past weekend by releasing a surprise collaboration with Beyonce and a preview of the upcoming video for "Anaconda." Nicki was up early this morning and called into Hot 97's morning show to speak on working with Beyonce, a potential Remy Ma collab and her favorite "Anaconda" memes.

"I thought it was never going to happen," said Minaj of working with Beyonce. "I thought if she was going to ask me, she would have been asked me. The stars just aligned the right way. We're just in the right places in our career that it makes sense now."

Minaj also revealed that the two worked on the song in-studio together but didn't hint at any more music coming from the duo.
