Jay Z, Kanye West And Frank Ocean Are Being Sued For Copyright Infringement

Jay Z has been the target of lawsuits this year. After an engineer tried to extort him for $15 million, the mogul was slapped with a lawsuit over the Brooklyn Nets logo, followed by one for stolen songs. Now the he and his Watch The Throne partner Kanye West have been hit with a lawsuit for copyright infringement.
New York musician Joel McDonald is claiming that the superstar rappers and Frank Ocean lifted the their concept for “Made in America” from his 2009 song of the same title. He is seeking $3 million in damages.
This is the second time Jay and Ye have been sued for a song off the Watch The Throne album. Back in 2011 they were hit with copyright infringement lawsuit for “The Joy.”
