J. Cole might be putting out the follow up to his successful sophomore 2013 album Born Sinner, before the year is out. The N.C. MC recently made headlines for showing support for the people of Ferguson by way of music and showing up on location, but behind the scenes, the Roc Nation rapper is knee deep in his third album.

While recently giving an update on players in the Roc Nation roster, Def Jam A&R Lenny S. revealed J. Cole's forthcoming LP is slated to drop this fall. “We have a few things coming, man,” Santiago said. “We have J. Cole is working on an album. He’s actually putting out a single in the next probably month or two if I’m not mistaken. An album shortly after that."
