Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, better known by his stage name Nate Dogg, was a man of many professions. The Long Beach native was widely known as a fashionable rapper and singer from the Westside, but he also dabbled in the acting game. Alongside Snoop Dogg and Warren G, Nate Dogg performed in a rap trio called 213. As Nate Dogg ventured off into a solo career, his signature singing style became a household favorite for any song he was featured on. Working with a plethora of artists ranging from 2Pac to OutKast, Nate Dogg made a name for himself in music that can never be forgotten.

On March 15, 2011, Nate Dogg died from complications of multiple strokes. He is succeeded by his six children, one who recently received a football scholarship to college. To this day, artists of all backgrounds salute and pay homage to the great Nate Dogg.
