With all of the major celebs and artists who were at the VMAs on Sunday, one of music's biggest stars, Drake, was absent for the event. Why? He's currently on the Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour with his label boss Weezy.

On Sunday, Drake won the award for Best Hip-Hop Video for “Hold On, We're Going Home” featuring Majid Jordan, and because he was not able to accept the award in person, Drake took the time to give his acceptance speech at his show in Boston last night. While giving his faux acceptance speech, Drizzy took the time out to thank God, his mother, Lil Wayne, and he also made a it a point to tell the audience that “he tricked [us] all”, admitting that “Hold On, We're Going Home”, was not a hip-hop song. Oh Drake. Check out the video above.—Marvin Jules
