Juicy J and DJ Paul of the Oscar-winning group Three 6 Mafia are in a financial conundrum. The two are being accused of copyright infringement on two songs controlled by Reggie Boyland, owner of On The Strength Records and Bank Bag Publishing. Last Thursday (Aug 7), Boyland filed a lawsuit against the duo and their labels, Select-O-Hits, S.A.T. Entertainment Music and Scale-A-Thon Entertainment.

According to Billboard, the official complaint details Three 6 Mafia violating several acts of infringement in 1996, specifically with the songs "Pimps In The House" and "Listen to the Lyrics." The tracks were written and performed by Memphis hip hop duo 8ball & MJG.

Boyland has yet to reveal how much the retribution will translate into dollars, but it doesn't look like it's going to be pretty. While touring already put a damper on their comeback album, legal fees might act as another interruption for Three 6 Mafia.
