David Lynch may have dropped the ball big time. The director admitted to being enamored by Kanye West's "Blood On The Leaves" record to the point that he even offered his hand in directing the video, if the opportunity came about. According to the Los Angeles Times, the video was set to happen.

Apparently, the feelings were mutual between Kanye and Lynch. So where was the disconnect? Let's let David Lynch tell it.

"I was going to do the music video for 'Blood on the Leaves,' but it never happened," Lynch revealed. "I didn’t come up with any ideas that I thought he would like. Kanye came up to the house one day. Kanye's a good guy, and a great musician. I loved the song, and that’s what brought us together, but I couldn’t come up with ideas that thrilled either one of us."

Lynch was so bummed out that he even admitted to letting down the Yeezus rapper.

"I feel I let him down a little bit." Maybe next time David. Maybe next time.
