Vic Mensa Is Not Releasing An EP On July 27
Update (8:20 pm): Contrary to Billboard’s report, Vic Mensa will not be releasing an EP on July 27. The trade publication posted the video for the XXL 2014 Freshman’s song “Feel That” last week, and inside their post mentioned that the song will be included on Vic’s upcoming Street Lights EP, which they said was due July 27.
XXL reached out to reps from Mensa’s camp, however, who denied that the EP was on the way, or whether there was one at all. “The information is incorrect. Billboard’s report is not true,” a rep wrote in an email to XXL. “‘Down On My Luck’ is coming out on iTunes in the UK on July 27th. Nothing else.”
Fans will have to keep waiting for the followup to last year’s INNANETAPE, one of the standout projects of the year. While we wait, however, it seems as good a time as any to re-watch the “Feel That” video, since that’s why we’re here in the first place. Check it out below.
Original Story (7:50 pm): The 2014 XXL Freshman has been working on some new material for his fans and it’s almost time for the release. Following the release of his popular sophomore mixtape INNANETAPE, Vic Mensa is set to release his debut Street Lights EP next Sunday (July 27) which will be available for the public on iTunes.
Street Lights will feature Vic Mensa’s number one hit single “Feel That“, a single he dropped on July 16 that climbed to the top of the charts in only three hours.
