Love & Hip Hop is headed to the Westside.

The executive producer of the reality series Mona Scott-Young hinted at the new location for the latest edition of the hit VH1 series during a recent interview. While she didn't confirm LA as the locale she did speak on her interest in the city.

"Well, we like the surprise element. I mean, listen, we’ve been looking to expand the franchise for a very long time," Scott-Young explained "It’s no secret that I’ve looked at a few cities including Los Angeles, I think that there are some great stories here to tell and ya know, stay tuned."

Ray J and Omarion are rumored to be part of the L.A. cast members. News of a fight between cast member leaked when TMZ posted footage of the fight shortly after filming began. When asked when the new series would debut she played equally as coy saying "Not much longer believe it or not, it’s gonna pop up before you know it."

The current season, based in Atlanta, airs on VH1 every Monday night.
