Lauryn Hill has become notorious for showing up late to concerts and giving a subpar performance. Hill, who has been performing on festival stages across the country this summer, lived up to that reputation last week at the House Of Blues in Chicago. According to TMZ, the former Fugees member was supposed to grace the stage but didn't start her performance until 11:20--50 minutes after her scheduled time. Granted, concerts run late, it happens. But when your reputation precedes you, it's never a good look to prove people right in that regard.

Once Hill began singing, TMZ reports that, "Lauryn's opening song performance was terrible, and when a fan called her and flipped her off...she berated him and had him tossed by security."

"When I get up on this stage, don't be disrespectful," said Hill to the aforementioned fan. "You can go. Seriously, you can go....I would prefer that. You're not gonna mess [this] up for the rest of these people. You can get your money and go. I'm alright with that. I'm okay with that.

"You understand that?" she continued. "You can get on your blogs and you can tweet. You can say whatever you want to. I don't give a rat's ass."

Fans grew tired of Hill's lackluster performance and antics and were seen asking for a refund at the ticket booth.
