The First Trailer For Jimi Hendrix Biopic ‘All Is By My Side’ Starring Andre 3000 Is Finally Here

Andre 3000 signed on to take the role as Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic based on the guitarist. Fans were teased with the first picture of 3K as Hendrix last month. Today the first official trailer is here. A short video clip of All Is By My Side that was released back in March shows an intimate conversation between two lovers, Hendrix and Linda Keith (Imogen Poots).

Andre 3000 put in some serious work, spending six hour a day on guitar lessons just to prepare for his role. What's parculira about __ is that the film doesn't have access or any of the rights to any of Jimi Hendrix's songs. The film was written by 12 Years a Slave writer John Ridley and it focuses mainly on Hendrix before the fame. All Is By My Side opens on September 26. Watch the trailer above.
