A revitalized Jim Jones revealed to XXL last week, during vampire hours, that the title of his new EP will be named Vampire Life Pt. 2: Memoirs Of A Hustler. The project is set to feature appearances from Trey Songz, Yo Gotti, K Camp, Jadakiss, Cam’ron, and more.

“It’s roughly seven records,” Jones told XXL at The Heatmakerz's Manhattan studio, Diamond District. “There are some pretty good, summertime records and I got some good energy on it. The tempo is a little bit different than what people are used to.”

A raw version of the EP, which Jones recorded in both Miami and New York City, sounds heavily influenced by the hard-hitting Southern trap anthems pouring out of Atlanta. The lead single, “The Shit,” featuring Trey Songz, isn’t quite the melodic masterpiece “Summer with Miami” was, but it should receive airplay from Ocean Dr. in Miami Beach to 125th St. in Harlem. Other highlights include a New Edition-sampled track called “Cocaine” and a braggadocios banger titled “More Bitches,” in which Jim boasts, "I got more bitches than Weezy/I got more bitches than Breezy."

Ed. Note: Jim Jones released a mixtape called Vampire Life 2 in May 2012; this project is set to be a retail EP rather than a continuation of his mixtape series.
