Fabolous is prepping for his new album Loso’s Way 2. After the success of his mixtape The S.OU.L. Tape 3, “Sacrifices” rapper has returned to the studio for his fifth studio album, the first since the release of 2009’s Loso’s Way.

For the new project, Fab has teamed back up with Chris Brown. He told MTV that their new record is the follow up to their 2013 hit.

“‘Ready’ was kind of like build up to where we was going, but I don’t think we was exactly ready. No pun intended,” said Fab. “I got this record up and I felt like it was something that leaned in his direction and what he’s doing right now.”

He explained that he flew out to L.A. to present Chris with the record and they knocked out what would be the blueprint for the album.

“What’s crazy about the record is it kinda like steered the direction of where the project is gonna go,” he said. “Its definitely gonna be melodic. I don’t wanna give away too much right now, but its definitely gonna be good vibes. I think it definitely gonna coast the end of the summer out.”

In addition to working with Chris Brown, he also has a song in the works with Nicki Minaj.

Loso's Way 2 does not have a set release date but expect to hear a new single soon.
