Eric Bellinger Says Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” Sounds Like A Hit Single

Nicki Minaj had the internet on smash yesterday when she dropped the cover art for her upcoming single, "Anaconda," which is set to drop July 28. According to Eric Bellinger, who co-produced the song with Da Internz and Polow da Don, "Anaconda" will have people paying attention to more than the asstastic cover art.

"“She knew that she wanted it to be her single," Bellinger told MTV News. "So it was a super big advantage for us when we were in there working...For this one, it was like it was already a hit single and it was already #1 when we were in the studio. It was a crazy feeling.”

Bellinger has nothing but high-praise for the upcoming single and is now acting as a promoter as long as the producer. "She went crazy," said Bellinger. As far as what fans should expect from the song, Bellinger keeps it simple: "Turn up. That's it; just turn up. The realest turn up possible."

"Anaconda" drops Monday.
