Dr. Dre’s Beats Electronics Is Suing A Group Of Websites Based In China

According to a recent TMZ report, numerous websites based in China has been making some serious money selling knock off Beats By Dre headphones. The website has reportedly made more than $135 billion off of the "poorly made" counterfeit headphones.  That equals billions of dollars lost for Dr. Dre and Beats. Beats is now suing the websites and hope to collect all profits made from the forged products.

In the lawsuit, Beats points out their products are high in-demand for major celebrities like Diddy, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj, so the protection of their trademark and brand are extremely important.

If the case works in their favor, Beats plans to take over all the faulty domain names for the counterfeit websites.
