Speculation Troy Ave might land a record deal with T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records looks like it might turn into hip-hop's next big label signing. The Brooklyn bar layer recently called into DJ Absolut's Hot 97 radio show and revealed how his relationship with the Kang came about and also responded to Game recent diss of the entire XXL 2014 Freshman class on his new track, "Bigger Than Me."

As far as his new Atlanta connect, the BSB boss said Tip was the one who initiated the two rappers meeting. "T.I. just reached out. He seen what I was doing. He was like, 'Man, Ima connect with you,'" said Troy. "He reached out like the real ones should. He was just like, 'Yo, what you need help with? Let's put something together, let's chop it up.' We just been kicking it every since. The vibes have been right," he said without giving anymore details on the possible deal.

Absolut also got the NYC representer to speak on Game's recent diss off XXL's Freshman class. Troy seemed to care less. "It sounds like shenanigans to me," he responded. "I haven't really heard it so I can't speak on it fully until I hear the record and see what he talking 'bout. It aint affecting nothing that I'm doing over here for this New York City and this East Coast environment that I have on fire."
