As you may know now, Angie Martinez skated from Hot 97 and opted to take her talents over to Power 105 a la LeBron. Now, even though Power 105 serves as Hot 97's prime competitor, it seems to be all love, at least in the eyes of Peter Rosenberg. Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 spoke on Angie Martinez's untimely departure and how she's the greatest radio personality in Hip-Hop history.

"We all got punched in the stomach. Not stabbed in the back ladies and gentlemen because that's a messed up thing. It was something that had to happen. And even though you're not angry about it, you're just hurt," said Rosenberg in regards to Angie leaving.

"It's been a honor to be alongside Angie Martinez for these last seven years. She is not just one of the greatest personalities in hip hop radio history. First of all, she's the greatest radio personality in hip hop history. Flex is flex. We love him. No one has endeared themselves to the people of this city the way Angie Martinez has. She's literally what New York sounds like."

Do you guys think Hot 97 can manage to carry on without the voice of New York?
