Sir Mix-A-Lot Performs “Baby Got Back” With Live Orchestra

It's educational value can be debated, but there is no denying Sir Mix-A-Lot's 1992 hit "Baby Got Back" is a hip-hop classic. The song has been used in everything from commercials to movies, and, now "performed with a live orchestra" can be marked off the raunchy ditty's bucket list. With the help of an orchestra manned by contemporary composer Gabriel Prokofiev, the Seattle rap vet recently performed the upscale version of the track in his hometown at Benaroya Hall. Mix was joined on stage by a couple dozen middle-aged Caucasian women. The turn-up was real. Check out the footage, above.
