The Roots' set didn't go as smoothly as some of the others as it was marred by technical difficulties. The crew soldiered on despite the crowd's initial mixed reaction and brought out some old school hitmakers to help make its set a memorable one.

The Lox was the first surprise to come out and cause some ruckus with "Wild Out" and a few other joints. Soon after, Dres of the legendary Black Sheep came through for "The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)." M.O.P. came last and kept the adrenaline pumping with "Ante Up."

The Roots fans also got to enjoy themselves a little bit as the band played some of its own jams, including "The Next Movement." But the guests ended up making the show.
