DMX’s Estranged Wife Got Permission To Take His Royalty Checks

DMX is going to have to start sharing some of his kibbles and bits according to TMZ. The rapper's ex-wife Tashera Simmons recently received court approval to garnish his royalty checks.

According to court documents filed in NY, X's checks from Universal Music Publishing will be about $15,000 lighter each month. The money will cover $10,000 in child support for their four kids along with $5000 for "other."

While $5000 for "other" might be eyebrow-raising, according to Simmons, DMX has got it. During a recent interview the former Mrs. Simmons explained that X is not suffering financially. “He is not broke…DMX gets $20,000 every show still to this day. He does it twice, three times a month.”
