Dave Chappelle Crashes The ‘Today’ Show To Plug Radio City Music Hall Shows

Legendary comedian Dave Chappelle did a little gorilla marketing this morning to promote his upcoming shows at Radio Music City Hall. He caught the attention of Today show host Matt Lauer when he banged on the window of the famed morning show with a sign in hand that read “Radio City! June 18-26.”

The stunt led Lauer outside to interview Chappelle about the upcoming series that kicks off tomorrow. Since Chappelle's first five shows sold out in five minutes, he was there to get the word out about the four additional shows he's added that will include Nas on the final night performing his entire debut album Illmatic. Other headliners include The Roots, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, Erykah Badu and Janelle Monae.
