Recently, Chris Brown celebrated freedom after getting his get out of a jail card. Now, he's prepared to risk his freedom after he chose to reject the plea deal. This means that Chris Brown will go to court to prove his innocence regarding the DC assault case that took place last year, according to TMZ.

TMZ said that Brown was close to accepting the plea deal. But unfortunately, the two sides couldn't find middle ground in terms of agreeing the sequence of the events that night.

Chris continues to vehemently say that he's innocent and didn't partake in the assault last year. If he had accepted the plea deal, he wouldn't have faced any additional jail time. Now by opting to go to trial, he runs the risk of going back to jail.

Chris Brown's bodyguard Christopher Hollosy has been convicted for assault. A trial date for Chris Brown has been set for September.
