BET Releases A ‘Music Matters’ Compilation Series

BET has enlisted some help for its new artist program Music Matters. Thanks to its new partnership with Louder Than Life/Red Associated Labels the network will launch a compilation album series, BET Presents Music Matters Vol. 1. It will feature new music from Bid Sean, Mack Wilds, Miguel and others. The album will drop June 23 just before the 2014 BET Awards to support the second annual BET Experience (June 27-29).
Music Matters has helped introduce us to some of today’s big artists including Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. It 15-track compilation BET Presents Music Matters Vol. 1 is available for preorder on Amazon.
