Akon Is Rooting For Team Mexico In The World Cup Finals

He might live in the USA, but Akon believes Team Mexico has the strength to take the title as World Cup Champions in this year's finals. According to TMZ, the producer-singer has even chosen a key player from Team Mexico to lead them to victory, goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

While believing Team Mexico will bring home the gold this year, Akon doesn't want you to cancel out Team USA as a strong contender just yet. In fact, the "Nasa" artist feels Team USA will reach further in the tournament than any other U.S. soccer team has done in the past.

For those who didn't know, Akon is a huge soccer fan who even lent his musical talents for the 2010 World Cup song, "Oh Africa", with Keri Hilson.
