With his forthcoming album release date for These Days... right around the corner, Ab-Soul is starting to make his media rounds to promote what is shaping up to be a strong project. While making an appearance on DJ Skee's, SKEE Live, the Black Lip Pastor looked past These Days... to the imminent Black Hippy album and had some very interesting things to say. "I'm trying to tell [Top Dawg] to tell Dr. Dre to just let us make Detox. Wouldn't that be crazy? The Black Hippy album should be Detox."

After that comment, Soul described the friendly competition between the TDE collective and their strong support system. "We're really brothers," said Ab. "We all really want so see each other do well. As much as it is friendly competition--I do want to be the best rapper in the world, too--it's in the same way I want Kendrick to be the best, I want to see Q be the best. It's a real interesting feeling but I think that's what kind of keeps us all in line."

The full interview will premiere on AXS TV tonight (June 20) at 8 P.M. Eastern and These Days... is slated for a June 24 release.
