After the huge Beats Electronics/Apple deal for $3 billon was confirmed, Dr. Dre and former Interscope Records executive Jimmy Iovine are joining Apple.
What executive roles Dre and Iovine will take is unknown however we do know the title. Their titles will be “Jimmy” and “Dre,” according to the Wall Street Journal.
It will be a full-time gig for Iovine and Dre however, the legendary hip-hop artist will still produce and make music. How cool of a life do these two have?
Apple purchased Beats Electronics— the company Iovine launched with Dr. Dre in 2008— and its streaming service, Beats Music.
