Wiz Khalifa Was Freed From Jail In Time To Perform At Soundset

Over the Memorial Day weekend on Sunday, Wiz Khalifa was charged with possession of marijuana in El Paso, TX after it was found during a security check.

After showing no signs of stress with a jail selfie and a #FreeTrapWiz campaign, Wiz was apparently freed just in time to make his set time at Soundset Music Festival in Minneapolis.

“I was in jail this morning from 6 AM to 2 PM in the afternoon.” Wiz tells Tracy G. of Sway In The Morning. “And at 6 PM in the evening, I’m on stage.”

In their interview, Wiz talked about signing autographs while he was locked up. He also kept his promise of releasing 28 Grams that same day too. Check out footage from his performance and the rest of their chat above.
