Yesterday, the hip-hop Internet was trolled something serious when news began to circulate that Kendrick Lamar's upcoming album would drop in September. Initially reported by RapRadar, along with an alleged promotional picture, the album was purported to be titled United States of A.L.A.R.M.. Several other sites also posted the information. The promo pic later proved to be false with RR removing the post and tweeting the correction, "Kendrick Lamar album info faker than a $3 bill, ya bish! Happy Saturday!”

Later in the day, retOne, who handles management for Top Dawg Ent., took to Twitter to address the misinformation. "Whats up with these fake ass news stories. unless you see @dangerookipawaa talk about it, shit aint real," he posted. "That goes for Interscope, news, blogs, etc...if u aint see it come directly from us #TDE dont believe em," he later added.
