Questlove Is Producing A VH1 Series

Accomplished musician and author Questlove of The Roots is adding another job to his already impressive resume, as he is reportedly joining VH1's new series Soundclash as an Executive Producer. While VH1's main focus has been on reality television as of late, they do have a history of great music programming with series' like I Love The 80s, Behind The Music, and most recently, The Tanning of America.

While details on Soundclash are currently scarce, its rumored that the show will feature three different acts performing hits, covers and collabs on stage. The first episode is set to scheduled to air on July 23rd and feature Lil Wayne, Fall Out Boy, and London Grammar. The following week, Ed Sheeran, Sia, Grouplove, and Diplo are scheduled to appear. The series will also air on Palladia.
