Pharrell hit the stage at YouTube’s Brandcast event in New York last night (April 30). With “Happy” being one of the most covered songs on YouTube, the mogul was tapped to close the show.

Pharrell, whose YouTube channel is after his movement, I Am Other said “I have to thank Google and YouTube for giving us the gift of ubiquity and connectivity.”

The super producer was one of two celebrities (Janelle Monae also performed) asked to perform at the event which aimed at gaining TV-quality advertisement online. Other performances came from the likes of YouTube favorites J Mike Relm, Postmodern Jukebox, beatbox flutist Greg Plutino and Puddles The Clown who preformed covers of “Get Lucky,” “Drunk In Love,” “Royals” and “Pompeii.”
