Sad news today. Paid Dues founder and Strange Music artists Murs announced on Facebook in an online statement that the hip-hop festival is cancelled this year. Murs explains that Guerilla Union had a very financially-challenging year and they can't put together a successful Paid Dues for 2014.

Murs did share that he plans to have Paid Dues for next year and celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the hip-hop festival next spring.

Paid Dues is an annual hip hop festival that started in 2006. Paid Dues is presented by Murs 3:16 in association with Guerilla Union.

Last year Paid Dues festival took place at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA. It featured hip-hop acts such as Black Hippy, Macklemore, Scarface, Tech N9ne, Immortal Technique, Trinidad James, Talib Kweli, Hopsin, Juicy J, Nipsey Hussle, Dom Kennedy, Mobb Deep, De La Soul, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, Joey Bada$$ and many more.

MURS and ¡Mayday! are collaborating on the album, ¡MursDay!, which is scheduled for a June 10 release on Strange Music.
