It’s been 10 years since Lil Wayne and former Cash Money in-house producer, Mannie Fresh worked together on an album. That reportedly changed last night as the two were spotted in an Atlanta recording studio. The results of the session might end up on Weezy’s upcoming LP, Tha Carter V. If this is Birdman Jr’s going out party, it would be fitting to have Mannie at the helm for part of the production. The former frequent collaborators haven’t worked together since 2004′s Tha Carter when a rift between Mannie and the label forced Wayne to choose sides. The two have since made amends.
