Love & Hip Hop Atlanta season three premieres tonight and stars already seem to be having issues. According to TMZ producers have had to beef up on security during shoots, one reason being a recent altercation between Lil Scrappy and a new female co-star. The “Neva Eva” rapper was separated from new cast mate Erica Pinkett, last week after she threw wine in his face during a dinner.
Producers of the VH1 reality show say that they now have one guard for each cast member to ensure shoots don’t get “too ratchet.”
The increase in security has been assembled to not only prevent cast-on-cast violence, but to protect the cast from civilians.
As one cast member says, “That shit gets ratchet and now the bodyguards shutting that shit down.”
