As if rapping and acting weren't enough, Kid Cudi has now added scoring to his list of accomplishments. Along with creating the soundtrack for the upcoming film James White, the Indicud artist is also said to have a starring role.

According to the official press release, the film, starring Christopher Abbott (Girls), Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) and Ron Livingston (Office Space), is a "frenetic coming of age story about a young New Yorker struggling to take control of his reckless, self destructive behavior in the face of momentous family challenges."

There is no word whether Cudi plans on creating a song of his own for the film but based on his musical roots, the possibilities seem high. While you might remember Cudi lending his acting chops in the HBO series How to Make it in America and recently in the feature film Need For Speed, the scoring venture is new for the entertainer of many talents.

James White has concluded production but the release date is still undecided.
