Just when everyone thought Vogue's over the top Kimye issue was going to shatter newsstands and tilt the planet, according to New York Post's Keith Kelly, the sales for the magazine was overwhelmingly bad. Or in the words of Kanye West, Michael Jackson bad.

A "magazine insider" had told Radar Online that the actual number of copies sold would hinge towards the 500,000 mark. "The projections are that Kim and Kanye will likely sell almost 500,000 copies."

In actuality, Kelly consulted Mag Net Data VP's Josh Gary, and received confirmation that the issue will not even be close in regards to touching the 500,000 mark. In fact, Vogue will be looking at possibly a meager 250,000 issues sold.

"The trends for Kim K. are definitely better than the prior month with Rihanna, to the tune of 20 percent better… I'd argue that if you peg last year's Michelle Obama at 269,000, [the Kimye] issue will net out around 250,000."

Hopefully this doesn't dampen Kanye and Kim's extravagant wedding plans.
