Jamie Foxx is a believer in the OVO.

During a talk with MTV to promote his new movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the Oscar winner spoke on his relationship with Drake.

“Drake is my little brother, man,” he said. “When he first came out, I took him to ‘[The Tonight Show With] Conan O’Brien’ and I said, ‘Listen, you may not know who this is, but in a couple of years, the whole world will know his name.’ “

Foxx, who has collaborated on music with Drake in the past, went on to share his thoughts on the Canadian's chances as an actor.

“I got movie ideas for him,” he said. “I think he can go a long way. He’s gonna be a surprise for the next two decades. That’s my prediction.”

Drake having acting chops is no surprise to Day 1 fans who have supported him since the Degrassi days. Drake's time on the Canadian teenage melodrama may have prepared him for the big time. Drizzy's recent turn as a host on Saturday Night Live pleased Foxx as well.

“What people don’t understand is, he’s an actor,” Foxx explained “So, when he did ‘Saturday Night Live,’ I was like, Oh, yeah, you really showing ‘em.”
