Jack White Of The White Stripes Regrets Not Working With Kanye West On ‘Yeezus’
While artists like King L, Chief Keef, and Kid Cudi were all able to say they played a pivotal role in the making of Kanye West’s Yeezus, Jack White of the White Stripes revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone, that he was bummed out he didn’t get the same opportunity.
In his interview, White explained how the two had plans on working together for Ye’s album, Yeezus. Unfortunately, after agreeing to collaborate, Kanye never followed up, and left White to hang in the dry. Despite the two never being able to work together, White did show love to West, complimenting him on the tour he had last year for the album.
“That might have been the greatest show I’ve seen in my life,” he says. “It was more punk, more in-your-face than anything I’ve seen.” Ye’s Yeezus tour was the second highest grossing tour last year.
Hopefully, this time around, Ye is able to grab Jack, and the two can stir up some killer tracks together.
