Happy Birthday to Virginia rapper and G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T!

Born Terrence Thornton,  Pusha T made his way into the hip-hop industry in 1992 when he and older brother No Malice decided to form a rap duo known as Clipse. Since then, the Virginia native has joined forces with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music and released a chart topping debut album, My Name Is My Name. Pusha is one of the most respected rhyme-slingers in the game and based off the success of his first album, everyone is waiting for more new music. But Pusha is not only a rapper, but also a business man, moving into the worlds of streetwear fashion and technology. In 2015, Pusha was officially named the president of G.O.O.D. Music and instead of dropping his highly-anticipated sophomore album, King Push, the Pusha man dropped what he referred to as a prelude project, Darkest Before Dawn, in December.

Whether you find yourself reminiscing about performing the euphoric "Grindin" beat on lunch tables or blasting his verse on Future's "Move That Dope", it's easy to recognize Pusha T's longevity in the rap game.

Happy 40th Birthday, King Push!
