Find Out What Your Favorite Rapper Charges Per Show
Still trying to work out the entertainment for your Memorial Day cookout? Well if your budget is in the $30,000 to $50,000 range you might be able to get Rick Ross to rock out while you enjoy your Nana's potato salad.
Variety got a hold of booking agency Degy Entertainment's rate sheet and it includes the going price for some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
According to the list Kanye West is pulling in $400,000 - $600,000 for a gig. Drake and Lil Wayne are a little less at $300,000 - $500,000 each. Nicki Minaj comes in slightly lower at $200,000- $300,000. Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Flo-Rida are in the neighborhood of $100,000 - $150,000. 2 Chainz seems a relative bargain at $75-100,000. And you can get Wale or Big Sean for in the region of $50,000.
If your pockets aren't that heavy you can get Chris Webby for $8.5 - $15K but the Flatbush Zombies ain't leaving Brooklyn for less than 5 stacks. Keep in mind that these are the prices from a third party agency that focuses on colleges and corporate bookings so the prices tend to be on the higher side. Also travel and tour routing may also impact the fee an artist charges so this list is basically a rough estimate of what your favorites can pull in. Continue shopping with the full list below
