Bob Costas Quotes Jay Z’s “99 Problems” During New York Yankees Game

You gotta smile a bit when sports commentators weave in some hip-hop lines in their commentary and show love to the culture. Revered sports journalist Bob Costas showed love recently at the Seattle Mariners and New York Yankees by quoting Jay Z’s "99 Problems".

With Robinson Cano returning back to Yankee Stadium, fans were locked and loaded with ammunition for the former Yankee after  he departed from the team over the offseason after signed a very hefty contract with the Seattle Mariners. One fan hoisted a sign reading, “Hey Cano. You’ve got 99 problems but the postseason ain’t one," which caught the eye of Costas and caused him to give his best Jay Z impression of the throwback single.

This wasn’t the first time that Costas showed his appreciation for the hiphop culture. He showed love to Ludacris by quoting some lines from Chicken-N-Beer awhile back. In addition, he even said that the ATL spitta was his favorite rapper.
