2Chainz says he’s going back to his roots for his new album.  The ATL rapper who was recently sentenced to 18-month drug diversion program plans to follow the trend of his EP Freebase, offering fans more insight on his life with the forthcoming LP.

“I’m starting a whole new campaign, its actually piggybacking off Freebase,” 2 Chainz told MTV. “Everything has a reason.”

He confirms that the album’s title won’t be B.O.A.T.S III or Freebase, but it will make reference to the lifestyle he addresses on the EP.

“My next two albums are very conceptual,” said the rapper. “They deal with timelines in my life. So I’m doing music where I can be like this some 2Chainz, this some Tity Boi and that’s how I separate some of the stuff.”

2 Chainz also talks about his plan to buy a boat thanks to the success of  his mixtape and even shouts out Cap 1.
