Battling has always been a part of rap culture and on the Jimmy Kimmel show last night the art form went to a whole new level, putting on the first ever televised sign language Rap Battle.
Gathering three of the best sign language interpreters in the country, Wiz Khalifa supplied the soundtrack with his signature song “Black & Yellow,” as they faced off with their best versions of the hit. All three were impressive and earned love from Wiz and the studio audience.
Wiz is back in work mode, so expect to see a lot of him soon. As his song “We Dem Boyz” is building energy a summer tour is sure to be on the horizon. The Taylor Gang leader was just announced for as a headliner for Power 106’s Powerhouse concert and his next album Blacc Hollywood is on track to release later this year.-G. Valentino Ball
